Savannah’s passion for seeing hurting children heal drives her work in this sector. Her role at Chosen as the Operations Manager significantly relies on this passion as she ensures the organization’s internal functions run smoothly through her oversight of Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, and Administration.
Savannah began her journey in the child welfare sector in 2016 and joined Chosen in 2018, bringing varied operational experience in sales and nonprofit leadership, including program creation, team oversight, and organizational development. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management.
As an adult adoptee, Savannah has seen firsthand the systemic gap in the child welfare sector. She understands the needs of trauma-informed resources for hurting families as well as the need for a holistic approach to healing children from the pains of abandonment, neglect, and abuse. Chosen’s mission of healing children by strengthening families connects with Savannah’s history and creates a beautiful opportunity for survivors of trauma to impact change.
Savannah and her husband, Will, have been married since 2017 and share one precious daughter. They are an active family in their local church, love to spend time outdoors through hiking and kayaking, and seek to travel and experience new things as often as possible.
