Kim Miller is Chosen’s State Engagement Director for the State of Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and a law degree from Stetson College of Law. Since law school, Kim has had a passion for serving and advocating for children in the child welfare system. After practicing law for 20 years in private practice, Kim moved over to the nonprofit sector as the Executive Director of Mary Lee’s House, her community’s Child Protection and Advocacy Center. Kim volunteers as a Guardian Ad Litem, provides leadership for her church’s foster care ministry and leads a core group for Community Bible Study. She also sits on the board of Child Hope International, a nonprofit committed to the vision of “no more orphans” in Haiti through family reunification.
Kim has been married to her husband Steve for 22 years and has three children. She enjoys being on the water in Florida and in the mountains of North Carolina. In her spare time, Kim is a certified Christian yoga teacher and loves walks with her Goldendoodle. She joined Chosen in January 2021.
