Denisse loves serving the people around her. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University. Denisse was a special education teacher for several years before her children were born. More recently, she served as Elementary Supervisor at her church, and as the Section 504 Coordinator at her children’s elementary school. She cares deeply for individuals with disabilities, as well as the adoption and fostering community. She believes all children are precious in the eyes of the Lord.
Denisse was born in Mexico and lived there for the early part of her life. She is fluent in Spanish and considers it a joy to communicate with and encourage Spanish speakers. In her days of teaching, and now serving Chosen, speaking Spanish has been a great blessing.
Denisse has been married to her husband, Ian, for eighteen years. They have three children. When not serving others, Denisse enjoys reading and writing, creating art, and leading Bible study.
