Administration Coordinator

Chelsea Polanco is the Administration Coordinator for Chosen. She gained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at American Military University and a master’s in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Development, with a minor in Secondary Education from Texas State University. Prior to coming to Chosen she was an elementary teacher and her passion was for children by providing all students with an equally enriched education. During her time as a teacher, she was a firm believer that the student’s home life always traveled into the classroom. Because of this, she worked diligently to build rapport, a safe place, and trustworthy relationships with her students so that they could thrive in all aspects of their studies including their social and emotional learning.

Chelsea’s experience is vast and diverse due to her moving during her family’s time in the military. Administration and Human Resources has always been at the forefront of her career. In the Army, she gained strengths in Human Resources while learning the most important part of the military — integrity, selfless service, respect, and duty. While working for top companies such as Apple Inc and USAA she learned valuable customer service skills and the ability to be diverse in the workplace.

Chelsea has been married to her husband Onix, for 10 years, and together they have two wonderful children, Isaac and Ariana. Their family is dedicated to their church and are active in evangelism and the children’s bible study program. In her spare time, she loves to hike, kayak, fish, dabble in professional photography, crafting, and volunteering for nonprofits that serve disabled veterans.
