Angela White is married to Tim, her second husband and they have four adult children. Originally from the UK, Angela is now a dual citizen, who has lived in Texas since 2007. She is still learning how to speak with a Texas twang! Angela became an American citizen in 2013 and now considers San Antonio home.
Her calling is to serve others who need support, and to be a part of working with people to help them be all they can be. As a foster to adopted child, Angela believes in the Chosen mission with all her heart. Supporting families so that children who have suffered trauma are able to thrive, so they can grow into everything God has planned for them is truly humbling work.
Angela, for all her adult life, has been actively involved in volunteering with nonprofit organizations. The focus of which have always been families and children, from fostering and adoption, to helping set up a battered women’s shelter and served with CASA in Conroe, Texas.
She believes in transformational leadership and has always mentored and coached others. Being a part of people finding their ‘inner sparkle’ brings her great joy, as Angela believes if we are all able to be our best selves, as the Lord made us, the world would be a better place.
Angela’s corporate career has covered everything from procurement to sales, information technology to finance, working with teams spread across the globe. She owned a life coaching practice in the UK and wrote a magazine column on coaching. Angela was the CEO of Alpha Home in San Antonio. She has also served on several Boards.
Angela is currently completing an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, where she was born and where she spent several years in a children’s home. Her life is coming full circle and she believes anything is possible with His Grace.
